MAIN, Santa Monica's newest neighborhood lounge and dance club offers a sleek and modern design, relaxed seating and plenty of room to dance or to sit and have a cocktail. It's not the cleanest or the nicest place in Santa Monica, but the vibe is great, and even though the dance floor isn't the largest in these types of venues, it isn't the smallest one either. Also, there is a back area near the bar, which is somewhat private, where you can sit and relax if it gets a little to hot and heavy on the dance floor.

There is no cover and has a great bartender with affordable drinks, your own personal DJ, and a game room in the back. On 80's nights they have Atari games for anyone to enjoy in the back room, booming 80's. Some nights it gets crowded so come early with friends. Main is a favorite among locals and tourists alike who enjoy a dance club environment but aren't looking to make the trip to Hollywood. Outfitted with a DJ booth, dance floor, go-go dancers, and various areas to reserve for parties, Main can accommodate most any nightlife essential.
