Rick's has a motto that everyone so agree: The Best Damn Burger in LA. But more than just burgers, Rick's also serves the best beers on tap and some wines for those who are looking for a watering hole and a delicious burger. Rick's sort of reminds you of bars up in the Bay Area; it is long and narrow and has embossed tiles on the ceiling. The main difference between Ricks and a bar you might stumble across in SF is the little patio out front and the large patio out back.

On nights when the weather is warmer the front doors will be open to the patio so if you are easily upset by cigarette smoke then you might want to avoid this place on those nights because the smoke from the front will drift throughout the bar. The wait staff and bartenders here are so friendly and speedy with service. The crowd is a mixture of local Santa Monica & Venice types, so expect low key with a dash or so of frat.
