This is such an ideal spot to get together with friends, a date or those visiting from out of town. The space is a bit intimate with the main bar enclosed in a penthouse lounge; exterior to that is an outdoor patio area with two fire pits and a killer view of the Pacific Ocean. So if you love the view of the ocean while you laze around and sip your favorite drink, head on to the Rooftop Lounge at Shangri-La.

The lobby lounge is cool and the bar by the pool with the fire pit is a nice alternative to the rooftop. Overall this is a cool spot in Santa Monica, centrally located on the "strip", with a great view. View is amazing, nice intimate glow within, drinks are decent, bar is fast, and bartenders are nice as well as the crowd.
